Description

The Dahua DHI-ARA12-W2(868) is a wireless indoor siren designed to emit a loud acoustic signal when an alarm is triggered. It enhances deterrence in homes, shops or offices and integrates smoothly with the Dahua alarm system.

With three adjustable sound levels and a maximum output of 84 dB at one metre, the siren ensures alerts are heard clearly without being intrusive. It operates on two CR123A batteries, with a typical lifespan of up to 2.5 years (based on two weekly activations of 120 seconds).

Communication is fully two-way and secured via AES128 encryption, with automatic frequency hopping to avoid interference. It covers distances of up to 1,000 metres in open space, ensuring reliable performance throughout a property.

The device includes tamper protection, battery status monitoring, signal strength detection, temperature monitoring (–15 °C to +65 °C with ±1 °C accuracy), and remote firmware updates via cloud.
